    Polski inżynier lotniczy, kapitan polskiego lotnictwa wojskowego. Absolwent Ecole Nationale Superieure de l'Aeronautique w Paryżu.

    Urodził się 14 marca 1893 r. (niektóre źródła podają 27 marca).

    szybowiec na Wystawie Przemysłowej i Handlowej w Odessie, otrzymując na niej nagrodę oraz dyplom uznania Odesskiego Oddziału Cesarskiego Rosyjskiego Stowarzyszenia Technicznego.

    Po wybuchu I WŚ służył w 8. Korpusie, w składzie którego uczestniczył w walkach pod Dubnem i Tarnopolem. Następnie kontynuował swoją służbę w Chodynce pod Moskwą.

    Po podjęciu współpracy z ppłk. G.Macewiczem, dostał rozkaz udania się do Harbinu. Stamtąd udało mu się przedostać do Paryża, gdzie wstąpił do Błękitnej Armii gen.Hallera. We Francji odbył także szkolenie lotnicze w Dijon, Pau i Biscaross.

    Po 11 listopada 1918 r. odwołano go do Sztabu Armii w Paryżu, gdzie gen.Haller wysłał go wraz por.A.Małkowskim do Odessy. Po problemach w Cieśninie Messyńskiej powrócili obydwaj do Paryża.

    Do kraju przybywa z Błękitną Armią w maju 1919 r. Rozpoczyna swą służbę w 16 Eskadrze Wywiadowczej. Po zakończeniu służby na froncie dostał przydział do Departamentu III MSWojsk. Równolegle wykonywał obowiązki w Polskiej Misji Wojennych Zakupów. W późniejszym okresie miał przydział w

    Począwszy od 1.października 1926 r. dostał bezterminowy urlop w MSWojsk.

    R-IX stosował charakterystyczne rozwiązania konstrukcji kadłuba, w postaci spawanej ramy z rur stalowych krytej płótnem, wraz z silnikami gwiazdowymi.

    Po ok. sześciu latach od rozpoczęcia pracy w biurze konstrukcyjnym, jego projekty były lepiej opracowane, i bardziej doceniane.

    Od 1928 r. pracował nad rozwiązaniem polepszenia pola obserwacji tylnej półsfery samolotu. Opracował w tym celu usterzenie motylkowe, znane także jako usterzenie Rudlickiego. Wypróbował je z pozytywnym skutkiem w 1929 r. na samolocie

    Hanriot H-28 Motylek. Kontynuacją projektu było opracowanie z tym usterzeniem modyfikacji samolotu Lublin R-XIII, znanej jako Lublin R-XIX.

    Po pozytywnym przejściu dmuchań w tunelach aerodynamicznych w Farnborought (otrzymana nazwa V-tail), wytwórnia ZMPiL próbowała sprzedać to rozwiązanie w samolotach oferowanych Departamentowi Lotnictwa MSWojsk. Z racji braku zainteresowania nie kontynuowano prac w tym kierunku. Rozwiązanie to zostało opatentowane (Polska, Niemcy, Francja, Szwecja, USA, Czechosłowacja, Wielka Brytania, Holandia, Rumunia, Luksemburg).

    ZMPiL, nie przyjęto go do pracy w Lubelskiej Wytwórni Samolotów - jako jedynego konstruktora z poprzedniej wytwórni.

    Po utracie pracy w ZMPiL zakupił upadający majątek w Olbięcinie.

    Został zmobilizowany pod koniec sierpnia 1939 r. z przydziałem do 4. Pułku Lotniczego. Internowano go w Rumunii. Do Francji przedostał się przez Jugosławię i Włochy. Pracował w filii zakładów Potez w Casablance.

    Do Anglii przedostał się z grupą PLL "Lot". Na terenie Wysp Brytyjskich pracował m.in. w Burton Wood Repair Depot, Lockheed Overseas Corporation. Opracował w tym czasie wyrzutnik bombowy do B-17 (nawiązujący do rozwiązania inż.Świąteckiego), oraz wykonał projekt drzwi bombowych do B-26 Marauder.

    Pod koniec wojny dostał propozycję wyjazdu do USA. Przybył tam 13 kwietnia 1945 r. do portu w Halifax. Pracował dla Republic Aviation Corporation.

    Odznaczono go m.in. Krzyżem Kawalerów Legii Honorowej, Krzyżem Walecznych, Złotym Krzyżem Zasługi.

    Zmarł 12 sierpnia 1977 r.
